It was a range of little things that went to make up Alan’s contribution in the 2nd and 3rd games of the recent International Rules Youth series. An inspiring chase down tackle to start the Melbourne test, continual generation of run off the BP/HBF rotation, a constant awareness and adherence to the rule of ‘no Irishmen behind us’ and laying of tackles to stop our opponents in their tracks.

Alan is a very steady player who reads the game well, kicks to position on his preferred left foot and has a real turn of speed.
