Who were your first picks?

My first five players selected were Jason Dunstall, Chris Mew, Leigh Matthews, Michael Tuck and Dermott Brereton - all of who are great ‘big game’ players, were rarely beaten, and all were great competitors and on-field leaders.

Who have you selected as coach and captain?

I decided to choose Allan Jeans as coach because he was a great leader (and a great person in general), plus, with due respect to the other coaches, Allan was the one I mostly played under.

I selected Leigh Matthews as captain, as he was a great leader who always created something special when asked to lift by ‘Yabby’. Matthews was a super on-field presence to be around!

Which players from different eras are you most excited to see line-up in the same team?

It would be great to see Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin play as a decoy half-forward for ‘The Kid’ (Dermott Brereton) and myself across half-forward - (LOL!) I think it would be hard to get a kick in that forward line! Also, the opposition forwards would struggle to get a kick against my backline.

Overall, a tough job to select, and my apologies to the players who I haven’t selected - no phone calls please!
