COLLINGWOOD and the Western Bulldogs will head into Friday's night game at the Etihad Stadium with unchanged line-ups as both vie to stay in touch with the top eight.

The Magpies, who are just percentage outside the top eight in 10th, have welcomed back tagger Levi Greenwood and second-year forward Josh Daicos for their first games of the year, while Ben Reid returns after three weeks on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.

Greenwood could be given the crucial job of minding in-form Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae, while Reid will provide much-needed aerial support to Mason Cox in attack.

The Bulldogs sit a game behind the Magpies in 13th spot, but will be bolstered by the return of veteran sharp-shooter Tory Dickson, who has been sidelined since round five with a hamstring injury.

The Dogs will also unveil former No.2 draft pick Josh Schache for his first game since his move from Brisbane in last year's NAB AFL Trade Period, while Roarke Smith will play his first senior match since August 2016 after undergoing a knee reconstruction early last year.
