Nathan Fyfe

GAMES: 91
GOALS: 76
SEASON TO DATE: Fyfe has had an outstanding season that was confirmed on Tuesday night when he was named the AFL Players' Association MVP. He could have won the AFL Coaches' Association player of the year as well if he did not miss four games through suspension. Fyfe finished second behind Port Adelaide's Robbie Gray.
WEAPON: He is almost unstoppable in contested football at either ground level or in the air.
WEAKNESS: His kicking continues to be a work in progress. He's kicked 22.9 in front of goal this year, which is an improvement on last season. - Alex Malcolm

Chad Wingard

GAMES: 65
GOALS: 90
SEASON TO DATE Wingard started in blistering fashion, playing a role deeper in attack to last year and on the back of his sensational 2013 campaign quickly attracted increased opposition attention. The 21-year-old's form dipped as he learned to deal with it, but has again shown his brilliance over the past three weeks when he's averaged almost 19 disposals and more than five tackles a game. He's also kicked seven goals.
WEAPON: His vertical leap makes him so unpredictable, but his instinct sets him apart. It allows him to regularly make something from nothing.
WEAKNESS: He's still learning to handle close attention and his impact on games has been smothered at various times this year. The closest of attention might be the only way to dilute his influence. - Harry Thring
