Murphy tallied 24 disposals and won seven intercept possessions – three of which launched scores for the Bulldogs – in his team's loss to Greater Western Sydney. Murphy's effort equated to 22.6 player ratings points – the most of any small-medium defender of the round. He has moved up to 54th overall – a career-high since the start of player ratings.




Travis Boak (Port Adelaide)
Boak has moved into the top 10 for the first time in his career, overtaking. Swans onballer Kieren Jack. His 15.6 points on the weekend was the sixth-most on the ground and the second-most for Port Adelaide. He ranks ninth in the competition for total points of all players this season.




Will Hoskin-Elliot (Greater Western Sydney)
Hoskin-Elliot was the top-scoring midfielder-forward in round 23 with 23.9 points. He kicked five goals straight and contributed one assist in the Giants' thrilling win over the Western Bulldogs. He was the Giants' sixth-highest scoring player this season.


Jack Gunston (Hawthorn)
Gunston was the top-scoring player on the ground against Collingwood with 25.6 points – his second-best game ever and the fifth-best of any player for the round. He kicked five goals and 20 of his 23 disposals were effective. He has moved up to a career-high standing of 51st overall – third of small-medium forwards.


Hawkins kicked seven goals and took 10 marks - nine of which were in the forward 50 – in the Cats' big win over the Brisbane Lions at Simonds Stadium. The performance earned him a career-best 29.7 player ratings points – the second-highest of any player for the round.



Nic Nat was the top-scoring player on the ground against Gold Coast with 26 player ratings points. Ten of his 12 disposals were effective, he kicked three goals, had one score assist, six tackles and 12 hit-outs to advantage. Naitanui has a career-high position of ninth on the player ratings table, but he currently sits at 47th – third at the Eagles and third of all ruckmen.

Jack Martin (Gold Coast)
Martin had a breakout game in the Suns' loss to West Coast. He kicked four goals, gave three score assists, took five marks inside 50 and 17 of his 19 disposals were effective. His performance equated to 23.5 player ratings points.
