I took a mate of mine who was visiting from California down to Moorabbin in the mid 1980’s to watch a game.

We stood there in the pouring rain, a pie in one hand a beer in the other and watched Plugger kick a bag full.

At the end of the game my mate looked at me and said “I've got no idea what just went on but it was fantastic”.
