ESSENDON has finalised all its compensation claims relating to the 34 past and present players involved in the 2012 supplements scandal that crippled the club in recent years.

Club CEO Xavier Campbell announced on Friday evening that the claims had been completed and the club was looking to move on.

"It's has been a challenging and complex process," he said in a statement.

"I would like to thank the players and families for their patience and professionalism working through the process.

"The club, through its lawyer ... and with the assistance of the AFL, worked hard to ensure a consistent and fair framework was established and adhered to throughout the process."

The thirty-four past and present Dons were cleared of anti-doping charges by the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal on the eve of the 2015 season, but WADA successfully appealed that verdict at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, resulting in those players serving a one-year suspension during 2016.

The supplements program also led to Jobe Watson being stripped of his 2012 Brownlow Medal.
