Honour, achievement – often against the odds, intensity of purpose, good fellowship and a lasting bond with those around them.

You hear of heroic deeds, and what are they?

They are in a struggle with the elements, overcoming opposing forces, triumphing against an invisible foe and persevering regardless of personal woe. 

There are 150 of them – who are they?

They are ours.  The 150 playing heroes of our club are memories, treasures, stories of today.  They are characters, captains, high flyers, running through the lines, twisting in circles, kicking off the ground for a goal, sharing with the crowd, hugging their teammates and celebrating being part of this – this team, this Melbourne Football Club – for all time.
