Toyota's AFLW ‘Good for Footy Round' returns this week, taking place across Round 11 of the 2025 NAB AFLW Season.
Celebrating more than 20-years of support for the game, the AFL is recognising Toyota's significant contribution to Australian Rules Football – from grassroots to the elite level – through this dedicated round.
Introduced in 2015, the ‘Good for Footy' program has now seen Toyota contribute more than $13.7 million to community football nationwide. From funding local initiatives to helping clubs grow and thrive, Toyota has made a lasting impact on clubs that form the heart of the game.
In 2025 alone, the Toyota ‘Good for Footy Raffle' raised an impressive $1.8 million, helping more than 830 community clubs across the country fundraise like legends. Each participating club kept 100 per cent of the proceeds, using the funds to invest in new uniforms, essential equipment and facility upgrades.
A new record was achieved in 2025, with the highest total club in Australia raising an impressive $57,000, helping to strengthen the club's future both on and off the field.
With a prize pool of more than $280,000 for the 2025 Toyota ‘Good for Footy Raffle', winning clubs received three brand-new Toyota vehicles, private coaching clinics with AFLW and AFL players and coaches, money-can't-buy experiences, as well as tickets, travel and accommodation for the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
As the NAB AFLW celebrates its milestone 10th season, Toyota's ongoing commitment to grassroots football continues to help the game grow, with more women and girls picking up a footy than ever before.
Since the inception of the AFLW, women and girls participation has grown by more than 200 per cent, advancing the game at all levels, with more than 3,500 women's and girls' teams now competing in community football nationwide.
Toyota's AFLW Good for Footy Round will kick off at Norwood Oval on Friday 24 October for the iconic Showdown match between the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide and conclude on Sunday 26 October when the Gold Coast SUNS take on Collingwood at Bond University.
AFL Executive General Manager of Game Development, Rob Auld, thanked Toyota for their continued commitment to supporting the game at every level – from grassroots to the elite.
"On behalf of the AFL, I'd like to thank Toyota for their continued support and genuine commitment to strengthening the future of Aussie Rules football," Auld said.
