Hadley earned his nomination for his efforts against Essendon last Saturday night.
The 21 year-old has played 10 games in 2004, after playing in just four matches - including the 2003 premiership - before the start of this season.
Hadley became the fifth fastest player to play in a premiership last year, when he played just his fourth AFL game against Collingwood in that one day in September. He booted a crucial second quarter goal, which helped swing the match in the Lions' favour.
He made his AFL debut in round three 2001, but then suffered osteitis pubis and subsequently had to wait another two years and 21 weeks before he played his second AFL match - the second semi-final against Adelaide last year.
All three of Hadley's matches in 2003 were finals.
Hadley's 2004 season highlights also include 21 disposals against Adelaide captain Mark Ricciuto and 21 possessions and two goals in the Lions’ six-goal win against Port Adelaide.
Originally from Western Australia, Hadley was the Lions' second selection - No.22 overall - in the 2000 National AFL Draft.
