Several 2019 NAB League Girls graduates featured among the top five results in various tests at this week’s NAB AFL Women’s Draft Combine in Melbourne.
Oakleigh Chargers on-baller Nicola Xenos recorded the fastest time of all participants in the 20m sprint and was also the quickest NAB League Girls player in the 2km time trial, while this year’s Western Jets captain Elisabeth Georgostathis posted the quickest time of all Combine invitees in the agility test.
2019 Sandringham Dragons skipper Molly Denahy Maloney was the best-performed NAB League Girls graduate in the standing vertical jump and GWV Rebels ball-winner Sophie Molan was the last Victorian remaining in the endurance-based yo-yo test.
