LeasePlan Western Bulldogs fans were last week the first in the AFL to enjoy the benefits of a new-improved online shop to purchase their favourite “doggies” gear.

The new Bulldogs on-line shop known as Bulldogs Direct was launched last Friday night with fans offered massive discounts on selected merchandise to celebrate the opening.

Western Bulldogs Manager of Consumer Products, Scott Seward said the launch of the site was a big coup for the club and its devoted supporters.

Bulldogs Direct will provide a much faster and more accessible service to our supporters. We are the only club in the AFL to have such a site with all the latest technology available to us.

The functionality of the website allows us to expand our merchandising and provide top customer service on a level that has not been seen in AFL previously,” he said.

“To be a Bulldogs supporter now means you are part of an organisation that is leading change and we are excited to take our supporters with us on the journey,” Seward said.

To celebrate the launch of Bulldogs Direct, Bulldogs fans can take advantage of the launching sale until 7.40pm Tuesday 7th August to purchase items such as Ted’s Towel for the price of just $2 (80% off retail price), a team cap for $10 (60% off), a team polo for $40 (50% off) or a spray jacket for $50 (50% off).

A new range of lifestyle clothing is now also available including hoodies, duffel coats; and vintage t-shirts and Henley’s.

Following the announcement of Luke Darcy’s retirement a section showcasing his 14 year career as a Bulldog will be launched today and supporters can reserve memorabilia to ensure they get their hands on precious images and signed items from one of the club’s favourite sons.
