All the teams for Round 11 in the Smithy’s VFL.

A WHOLE host of AFL-listed talent has been named to flood the Casey Demons and Collingwood teams for their traditional Kings’ Birthday Eve Smithy’s VFL clash at Casey Fields on Sunday, with both clubs to unveil their mid-season draftees.

The Demons will introduce Subiaco forward Luker Kentfield to their team after he was taken by Melbourne last week, while the Magpies have added young Montrose ruckman Iliro Smit for his VFL debut.

But that’s just the start of it, with Shane McAdam, Adam Tomlinson, Dan Turner and Taj Woewodin named for Casey after Melbourne’s Red Centre horror show against Fremantle, while travelling emergencies Jack Billings and Ben Brown also return, with youngster Paddy Cross – who has been ruled out for the season with a serious hamstring injury – being the only forced omission.

Collingwood, meanwhile, has Reef McInnes, Ash Johnson and Wil Parker returning from AFL duties and Josh Eyre finally ready to play his first game for the club as an AFL-listed player after missing the first half of the season with a hamstring injury, while Nathan Kreuger and debutant Tew Jiath have been named for Monday.

North Melbourne will unveil Mid-Season Rookie Draft first pick Geordie Payne and fellow selection Brynn Teakle when it hosts Coburg at Arden Street Oval on Saturday.

Hugh Greenwood also comes in for the Roos, however Kallan Dawson has been elevated to the AFL team, Cooper Lord crosses to his new club Carlton and Sam Lowson is out with concussion.

The Lions have suffered a major blow with Tom McKenzie out with an ankle injury while Liam Podhajski has succumbed to a knee issue sustained late in his dominant performance against Casey Demons last week.

Sandringham has included five AFL-listed players for its clash with reigning premier Gold Coast Suns at RSEA Park, with Tom Campbell, Zak Jones, Zaine Cordy, Lance Collard and Ben Paton all coming into a side which has won five of its past six starts.

The Suns have managed key forward Sam Day among three changes.

Wylie Buzza returns for his first game since Round 7 when Southport hosts Williamstown in a top six clash at Fankhauser Reserve.

The Seagulls will be without star recruit Riley Collier-Dawkins who will miss with concussion, although they do regain Cam Polson and Mitch Cox.

Kye Declase will miss Dom Brew's 100th game when Werribee takes on Frankston at Avalon Airport Oval.

Sydney Swans have lost Jack Buller to a back issue for the remainder of the season, while Angus Sheldrick will also miss an extended period with an ankle injury. It's not all bad news for the Swans though, with Peter Ladhams among four inclusion for Sunday's clash with Geelong at the SCG.

The Cats have named young ruckman Mitch Edwards for his first game in the hoops after selecting him with pick 32 in last year's National Draft. Shaun Mannagh returns after sitting out last week's win when the carryover emergency for the AFL team.

Jaylon Thorpe returns from injury for Box Hill's home match against GWS Giants, with mid-season draftee Jasper Scaife also named for his club debut.

Callum Brown will miss for the Hawks with a minor shoulder injury, although the Giants will be without in-form ruck Nick Madden due to an ankle problem.

Essendon has bolstered its line-up as it looks to bounce back from consecutive heavy defeats when it hosts Carlton at Windy Hill.

Nick Bryan, Nate Caddy, Alwyn Davey and Archie Roberts return among six changes, with Will Setterfield elevated to the AFL team and Zach Reid out due to a pectoral injury.

Cooper Lord will play his first game for the Blues after being drafted last week from North Melbourne's VFL program.

Richmond will unveil 208cm basketball convert Oliver Hayes-Brown in its Friday night clash with Port Melbourne at ETU Stadium.

Hayes-Brown, 24, has been learning his trade in the ruck with VAFA club Old Ivanhoe, having 22 disposals and 77 hitouts in a recent match to earn his call-up in place of the promoted Jacob Koschitzke, while Kaleb Smith returns from his AFL taste and Ry Cantwell also comes in with Nick Guiney sidelined for a week by a glute injury.

The Borough loses star midfielder Robbie McComb to injury, with former Southport star Matt Gahan coming in for his third game of the year.

Teams for the match between Casey Demons and Collingwood will be published at 5:00pm Saturday.

All matches in the 2024 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.

Smithy’s VFL broadcast partner, the Seven Network, will broadcast select matches live and free on the Seven Network in Victoria and on 7plus nationally. This week’s broadcast game will be Essendon vs Carlton.
