The 2024 Coates Talent League Girls Grand Final between the Oakleigh Chargers and Eastern Ranges is a rematch of the 2023 decider, which the Chargers won by seven points.

The Oakleigh Chargers finished the 2024 home and away season atop the ladder with a 13-1 record and advanced to the premiership decider with impressive finals wins over the Sandringham Dragons and Dandenong Stingrays.

The Eastern Ranges progressed to the Grand Final after finishing third on the ladder with a 10-4 record. They defeated the Northern Knights by 11 points in the quarter final before beating the Geelong Falcons by 20 points in the preliminary final.

The Oakleigh Chargers will be looking to create history as the first team to win back-to-back Coates Talent League Girls premierships, with victory to hand the club its third flag in four years following triumphs in 2023 and 2021.

The Eastern Ranges are vying for their first Coates Talent League Girls premiership in their second Grand Final appearance.

The Coates Talent League Boys Grand Final between the Sandringham Dragons and GWV Rebels will follow at 1:15pm.

3. Sienna Tallariti: Has put together a consistent season which also includes representing Vic Metro and the AFL National Academy Girls. Elite skills and decision making underpin her game. Community club: Whitehorse Pioneers

4. Zara Nuewirth: After playing Vic Metro as a bottom ager has shown an ability to negate key forwards each week whilst offering good run and carry. Community club: Kew Comets

5. Abbey Vicino: Has had a big year representing Vic Metro in all three games. Plays as a high forward and uses her high workrate to generate shots for herself and others. Community club Ashburton

13. Daisy Bird: Has rucked all year and shown a great ability to follow up and lay tackles. Competitiveness and ability to cover the ground a strength. Community club: Oakleigh Dragons

14. Chloe Thorn: Spent time both as a defender and inside mid as a bottom ager. Part of the leadership group this year and has shown her strengths of her contest work consistently this season. Community club: Blackburn

16. Sophie McIntosh: Has had a really consistent season playing as a lockdown defender showing her great athleticism. Community club: Hawthorn Citizens

18. Bailee Martin: Another 16-year-old who has excelled all season. Made All Australian in the AFL National Development Championships and as a key forward in the Coates Talent League has consistently kicked goals. Community club: East Malvern

19. Charlotte Brewer: Has had an outstanding year rebounding off half back. Represented Vic Metro where she displayed her exceptional speed. Community club: Vermont

20. Emma Stark: A great athlete who plays both wing and forward. Very strong overheard and a nice kick which helps her to hit the scoreboard. Represented the Allies in the National Championships. Community club: St Mary's (NTFL)

21. Amelie Gladman: A medium forward with elite hands and forward craft. Runs good patterns and generates shots from a variety of ways. Community club: Surrey Park

23. Isabelle Godfrey: An elite runner with great skills who will play on the wing. Has not missed a game as a 16-year-old since debuting in round 13. Community club: Kew Comets
