HawksActive's very own Ben Dixon has submitted his ULTIMATE Hawks Premiership Team and answered a few questions for hawthornfc.com.au on his selections.

Dixon played 203 games and kicked 282 goals for the Hawks between 1997 and 2007. He currently hosts Hawks' TV show, HawksActive and is the Head Coach at Draft Star.

Who are the non-negotiable selections in your side?

Chris Langford - superman at full back and Jason Dunstall full forward because I'd cop a dead arm from him if I didn't pick him.

Talk us through your selections for coach and captain.

Allan Jeans as coach - an all-around superstar who I was lucky enough to have many chats with during my career - some about footy, some about lawn bowls. An icon of the footy club.

Pritchard as team captain - the most under-rated Hawks player of all time in my opinion. A must have - always the guy to set the standard on the track, didn't know what a corner was to cut it, ticked every box.

Which players from different eras are you most excited to see line-up in the same team?

Would love to see Graham Arthur short pass to Lance Franklin to see Buddy mark one of Mort's floating punts.

Would also like to see Buddy push Dermie up the ground, get him out of his position - both fighting to be the greatest Hawks' 23 of all time (tough task Buddy - five day, five night).

Any curly selections?

Yeah, I’ve put my two coaches Ken Judge and Peter Schwab as emergencies, Judgey as pay back for picking me as an emergency so many times.
