PORT Adelaide and Essendon will go in as selected for Friday night's encounter at Adelaide Oval in what will be Brendon Goddard's last game in Bombers colours.

The Power need to win to keep their slim finals hopes alive, and hope Gold Coast pull off a stunning upset and knock over Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday.

Ruckman Billy Frampton makes his AFL debut in one of three changes for the Power, while midfield bull Sam Powell-Pepper and small forward Jake Neade have been recalled.

Tom Rockliff is out with a shoulder injury and Aidyn Johnson and Riley Bonner have been omitted.

The Bombers have brought in ruckman Matthew Leunberger for his first game since round six, replacing the injured Tom Bellchambers.

Jayden Laverde also returns to the side for Matt Dea.
