ADELAIDE midfielder Matt Crouch has dismissed speculation older brother Brad could leave the Crows at the end of this year and return to Victoria.

Brad Crouch will be a restricted free agent at the end of 2020 and has attracted interest from several clubs, including St Kilda.

The 25-year-old has rebounded strongly after missing all of last season with groin soreness, playing every game and averaging 30.7 disposals and 5.8 clearances.

"(Brad) loves it in Adelaide," Matt told reporters on Tuesday.

"His girlfriend's from Adelaide and he's contracted here for another year, so I'm pretty confident he's going to be here.

"There's always going to be clubs talking to managers during season, that's part of the industry we're in.

"I'm confident that he'll be here."

Crouch laughed off suggestions the Crows should consider trading one, or both, of the brothers to add more leg speed to the midfield.

"It's opinions, isn't it?" he said.

"In this industry, you're open to difficult people's opinions and that's fine, but it doesn't really bother me or Brad.

"We're happy at the Adelaide Footy Club and we love it here."

Crouch also wasn't concerned a number of players – including Hugh Greenwood, Alex Keath, Jake Kelly, Riley Knight, Sam Jacobs, David Mackay and Richard Douglas – were out of contract, while others such as forward Josh Jenkins have been linked with a move away from the Crows.

"That's just the industry we're in, a lot of clubs are in similar positions," Crouch said.

"As a player, you can't control that and it's not something I worry about too much.

"I worry about how we're going to win this week."

The eighth-placed Crows (10-9) face a huge challenge against reigning premiers West Coast in Perth on Sunday.

Key defender Alex Keath was on light training duties on Tuesday, but is on track to return after missing the past two games with ankle soreness.

"He should be right to go," Crouch said.

"He did some training yesterday, he didn't do much today, but he'll train Thursday and hopefully play on Sunday."

Experienced campaigner Sam Jacobs could return for his first game since round two to give ruckman Reilly O'Brien a rest.

"I don't think (O'Brien) is getting tired, but as a young ruckman that can potentially happen," Crouch said.

"There's no signs he's getting tired, but that can happen as a big fella, but I feel he's going OK."
