Black Eyed Peas' star will.i.am couldn't make it to the MCG on Thursday but thankfully gill.i.am stood up in his place.

AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan was presented with his own guernsey by the Black Eyed Peas, who are set to perform the pre-game entertainment for the Grand Final.

The half-half jumper, a combination of Collingwood's black and white stripes and West Coast's blue and gold number, had gill.i.am printed on the back – with the group paying homage to group member will.i.am, who is set to arrive in Australia on Friday.

Fellow group members apl.de.ap, Jessica Reynoso and Taboo were in attendance at the MCG, alongside Jimmy Barnes – who is also set to perform ahead of the Grand Final.
