STAR Port Adelaide onballer Ollie Wines has committed to the club and signed a four-year deal with the Power.
The Victorian is contracted until the end of 2022, when he will become a restricted free agent.
Wines, 23, was due to come out of contract at season's end, but Port had always expressed confidence the midfield bull would stay at the club, with coach Ken Hinkley saying just over a week ago he was "100 per cent certain" Wines would be at the Power next season.
"This club has done everything right by me and my family since it welcomed me into the club six years ago," Wines told portadelaidefc.com.au.
"I have a firm belief in where the club is heading, the playing group it's formed and the support off-field, and I am looking forward to the future.
"My position, and the club's position, throughout our discussions, has been that we have been in a good space and it was only a matter of time before I signed on again."
Since being drafted at No.7 in 2012, Wines has played 119 matches.
He was made vice-captain ahead of the 2017 season and is seen as a future Power skipper.
Wines is ranked sixth in the AFL for clearances per game and 11th in average contested possessions.
He finished runner-up in the 2016 best and fairest.
"Ollie is a great player, a brilliant young leader, and a popular member of the Port Adelaide community," Power football manager Chris Davies said.
"We see his signing as a significant commitment to Port Adelaide's football program and a belief in the direction the club is heading."
