The Role:
As WA Football’s Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for bringing the brand and associated products to life across a variety of digital and print assets, ensuring consistency and quality in all creative output. Acting as a brand custodian, you’ll maintain the visual identity, oversee creative assets, and set design standards across the organisation. You’ll work cross-functionally to produce engaging materials that motivate audiences, manage creative workflows, and maintain digital assets, including photography, to ensure version control and efficient access.
Key accountabilities include:
- Design and produce visually appealing, high-quality digital, print, social and event creative.
- Develop and maintain branded templates and core brand resources to ensure consistency and support internal teams.
- Manage internal creative workflows and coordinate with agencies, suppliers and production partners to deliver on-time, high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate briefs into effective creative solutions across campaigns, partnerships and events.
- Maintain brand and photography asset systems, file organisation and copyright/talent-rights compliance.
- Ensure all creative output adheres to brand guidelines, accessibility standards and production best practice.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related creative field.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a graphic design role, either in-house or agency-side.
- Demonstrated understanding of brand systems, visual identity management and template-based design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc).
- Collaborative, proactive and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
