A REJUVENATED Adelaide is determined to make amends for last year's semi-final exit and travels to Sydney with real belief it can extend its premiership charge, in-form forward Tom Lynch says.

The Crows bounced back from their disappointing round 23 loss to West Coast with an emphatic 62-point thumping of North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

It sets up a semi-final encounter with the wounded Swans, who had no answer to a rampant Greater Western Sydney Giants in their qualifying final.

Lynch told reporters at Sunday's recovery session the Crows were after retribution for their 74-point loss to Hawthorn in the second week of the finals last year.

"We were in this position last year; we win our first final and we weren't able to deliver in our second one," Lynch said.

"The boys are really keen to change that.

"We know it's going to be a completely different final to the one we played last night … it's going to be a real fight."

Lynch was one of the Crows' best against the Kangaroos, kicking four goals among his 21 possessions.

But he was overshadowed by a sensational six-goal performance from champion goal-sneak Eddie Betts.

Lynch was more than happy to take a back seat and enjoy the Eddie Betts show, as did the 49,007-strong crowd when chants of "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie" echoed around the ground.

"It's pretty special, we're extremely lucky to play with him," Lynch said.

"When he takes a spectacular mark, you think, 'Thank God he's here'.

"It was great to see him deliver last night … we certainly needed him."

The Crows beat the Swans when the two teams met at Adelaide Oval earlier this year.

They also don't have any fear of playing at the SCG, having won four of the five past times there.

"We take confidence in the fact there is six teams left, no matter where the venue now, it's game on," Lynch said.

"I know the boys have pulled up pretty well and we're eager to get over there and get a result."

Crows defender Kyle Hartigan will have a nervous wait after he was reported for tripping Kangaroos forward Lindsay Thomas.

"I haven't seen the replay, but I'm confident he should be OK after talking to a few of the boys," Lynch said.

Crows duo Kyle Cheney and Rory Atkins didn't take part in Sunday morning's pool recovery session, but club officials said it wasn't anything serious.
