The star players from the 2026 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be recognised at the 2025 VFL and VFLW Awards on Monday night.

The event will be held on Monday, September 14 from 7:00pm AEST, hosted by Nigel Carmody and Jess Webster.

Among the awards that will be presented are:

- J.J. Liston Trophy (VFL Best and Fairest)
- Lambert-Pearce Medal (VFLW Best and Fairest)
- Coaches MVP Awards
- Smithy’s VFL Team of the Year
- VFLW Team of the Year
- Rohenna Young Medal (VFLW Leading Goalkicker)
- Jim ‘Frosty’ Miller Medal (VFL Leading Goalkicker)
- Debbie Lee Medal (VFLW Rising Star)
- Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal (VFL Rising Star)
- Umpires of the Year

The 2026 VFL and VFLW Awards will be presented ahead of the 2026 VFL and VFLW Grand Finals, which will be played at IKON Park on Sunday, September 20.
