ADELAIDE'S finals hopes may have been dashed by an injury to in-form key defender Chelsea Biddell, Richmond's faint pulse has been kept alive by the return of Mon Conti, while the beleaguered Collingwood has lost both Ruby Schleicher and Jordy Allen to injury.

The Crows have recalled Irish tall Kayleigh Cronin in place of Biddell, while opponent Gold Coast is unchanged, with veteran Lily Mithen forced to cool her heels as an emergency for a second week.

Conti (Achilles) will play her first game since her trip to Darwin in round three, while Ally Dallaway has recovered from a calf injury and key back Bec Miller recalled. Maddy Shevlin has been dropped, alongside top-ups Caitlin Thorne and Alana Barba.

The Tigers have named Sarah Hosking as an emergency for the first time this year, having sat out the season with a hamstring injury.

Melbourne has opted to rest Paxy Paxman, regaining Sinead Goldrick (MCL), and recalling veteran ruck Lauren Pearce in place of Jacinta Hose.

Port Adelaide has regained Sachi Syme for the first time in five weeks from a hamstring injury, opting to manage skipper Justine Mules-Robinson for its must-win clash against Brisbane.

The Lions have regained livewire Marlo Graham (corked leg), omitting Lily-Rose Williamson.

Geelong will be without key defender Claudia Gunjaca (shoulder) for its trip west, recalling Evie Cowcher for her first AFLW game on home soil, while West Coast has dropped Georgie Cleaver for the second time this season.

Spearhead Amy Franklin is unavailable for personal reasons, with youngsters Sienna Gerardi and Ella Slocombecoming into the team.

The Western Bulldogs have regained Brit Gutknecht (foot) in place of Mizuki Brothwell, while key forward Emma McDonald (elbow) has passed her test to play.

Carlton will run with one ruck in Lauren Bella, resting Jess Good, with Aisling Reidy recalled.

North Melbourne has already confirmed it will manage Kate Shierlaw and Jenna Bruton for Sunday's match against Essendon, possibly opening the door for Kristy-Lee Weston-Turner and Emma King.

Likewise, Collingwood also play on Sunday at Windy Hill, and have confirmed senior duo Schleicher (shoulder, season) and Allen (calf) will miss, with draftee key back Zara Neuwirth a likely inclusion.
