Dan Houston emerged as another option in Port Adelaide's midfield in 2019

EMERGING Port Adelaide midfielder Dan Houston is back to full training after sustaining a knock to his knee at match simulation last week.

The 22-year-old was on the track with his Power teammates at Alberton Oval on Monday morning.

Houston made a successful shift from the half-back flank to the midfield last year, averaging 21.4 disposals per game and finishing third in the club's best and fairest.

Big-bodied on-baller Sam Powell-Pepper trained indoors away from the main group to manage his training loads.

Captain Tom Jonas continues to be in the rehab group in his return from an ankle syndesmosis injury.

Willem Drew (heel), Wylie Buzza (groin) and draftee Dylan Williams (back) are also on modified programs and training away from the main group.

Williams – the 23rd overall pick in last year's NAB AFL Draft – was restricted to two games in the NAB AFL Under-18 championships due to stress fractures in his back.

Boak and fellow star Robbie Gray are back training at the club having travelled to the Gippsland region in Victoria on Saturday to conduct a junior coaching clinic in an area affected by the recent bushfires.
