KEPLER Bradley has signed a one-year contract extension to stay at the Fremantle Dockers for 2014.

Bradley has been recovering from a knee reconstruction after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in round five against Richmond.

The 27-year-old, who has played 117 AFL matches including 68 with Fremantle after 49 with Essendon, managed just 12 games in 2012 during Ross Lyon's first year in charge.

Bradley spent seven weeks in the WAFL that season and was an emergency four times but he played the first five matches in 2013 before the knee injury ended his year.

The recruitment of Scott Gumbleton during the Gillette Trade period added some intrigue as to whether Bradley would be offered a contract extension but he will remain at the club until at least the end of 2014.

Bradley has continued his running program throughout the off-season break in preparation for the pre-season.
