THE AFL advises the Match Review for the Sunday games of Round Six has been completed. Four charges were laid with one other incident requiring an explanation.

Charges Laid:
Brad Ebert, Port Adelaide, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Harry Perryman, GWS GIANTS, during the first quarter of the Round Six match between Port Adelaide and the GWS GIANTS, played at Metricon Stadium on Sunday July 12.

In summary he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction.

Harry Perryman, GWS GIANTS, has been charged with Striking Ollie Wines, Port Adelaide, during the second quarter of the Round Six match between Port Adelaide and Greater Western Sydney, played at Metricon Stadium on Sunday July 12.

In summary he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct with Low Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Marlion Pickett, Richmond, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Isaac Heeney, Sydney Swans, during the third quarter of the Round Six match between Richmond and the Sydney Swans, played at the Gabba on Sunday July 12.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Low Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Jayden Short, Richmond, has been charged with Misconduct against Isaac Heeney, Sydney Swans, during the third quarter of the Round Six match between Richmond and the Sydney Swans, played at the Gabba on Sunday July 12.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Misconduct. The incident was classified as a $750 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.

Incidents assessed:
Contact between GWS GIANTS Aidan Corr and Port Adelaide’s Todd Marshall from the second quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. Marshall pulls Corr’s left arm downwards and simultaneously Corr pushes Marshall’s head into the ground. It was the view of the Match Review Officer that Corr’s actions did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
