Daniel Wells has increased his chances of playing again before season’s end after an appearance at training on Wednesday.

Some media commentators boldly reported Wells’ season was over after a niggling groin injury and recent mishap in the gym. It seems they could only be weeks away from being proven wrong.

The 24 year-old was involved in various drills at Trinity Grammar which involved running and kicking with the main group.

Wells’ training program will be stepped up over the coming weeks with aim to have him playing in the senior side in the near future.

His inclusion will provide a massive boost to the Kangaroos with the side lacking pace through the midfield and around the ground.

Stay tuned for Wellsy’s word which will appear shortly on kangaroos.com.au
