Rhyce Shaw was voted the Magpies’ best in the round four Port Adelaide game, but it’s his younger brother Heath who has taken an early overall lead in the 2007 collingwoodfc.com.au Fans’ Player of the Year award.

Voting for the memorable ANZAC Day victory over Essendon is open, so make sure you have your say on who was the club’s best.

The 2007 collingwoodfc.com.au Fans’ Player of the Year award has proved a great success in the early stages of season 2007, and has special meaning as it will be presented at the 2007 Copeland Trophy.

At the end of each round, we’ll tally all the votes from Magpie supporters here on collingwoodfc.com.au, and the players with the most will be awarded an overall 3-2-1 to go towards the final tally.

Joining Rhyce in the votes for round four were emerging star Dale Thomas, who was not far from being voted the best, and Tarkyn Lockyer, who has enjoyed an exceelent start to the season and currently sits second on the overall leaderboard with four votes.

Each week the crew from Magpie Radio’s Pie Night, which is the world’s greatest one-eyed match preview show and is available exclusively on collingwoodfc.com.au each week as a FREE stream or podcast, will discuss the 2007 collingwoodfc.com.au Fans’ Player of the Year.
