Port Adelaide is on the hunt for a new Head Fitness Coach to spearhead its 2009 pre-season and beyond.

The club will advertise for the position nationally tomorrow.

The position had been held since January 21, 2008 by Dan Comerford who took over from Darren Burgess who joined the Socceroos. Comerford will not be continuing in the same role.

Port Adelaide General Manager - Football Operations Peter Rohde said the club would do everything it could to make sure it got the best person for the job.

"An outstanding fitness program is going to be a key to improving our side next year and we would encourage applicants from not only the AFL but throughout professional sport," Rohde said.
