A brand new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sales & Partnership Coordinator to join the Western Bulldogs. We are one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia.

The role of Sales & Partnership Coordinator is required to provide a high level of service to existing club sponsors whilst also taking an active role in finding new partners for the Western Bulldogs as we continue to build a strong presence in Melbourne’s west. This role requires an innovative operator who can identify and generate new business for the Club through the sales of our assets, products and services.

The key areas of this role will be managing existing club sponsors and attracting new partners to the club and include the following key responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the management of the relationships of all key sponsors;
  • Seeking and securing new sponsorship revenue and opportunities;
  • Assisting in the management of the overall sponsorship budget;
  • Reporting periodically on sponsorship growth and new business acquisition;
  • Ensuring allocated sponsors are serviced in accordance with Sponsorship contracts; and
  • Attending all home matches and Club events to ensure sponsors needs are met.

The successful candidate will have a formal qualification in Marketing/Sports Management or Commerce and at least 2 years proven success in sales in a comparative industry. We are seeking an individual within the early stages of their career who has a blend of creativity and professionalism which will assist in establishing, developing and maintaining meaningful business relationships with lapsed and prospective clients to generate new revenue streams for the Club.

Experience in developing new business through sponsor acquisition via cold calling will be viewed favourably.

$60,000 - $65,000 total remuneration package
