AFL Statement

The AFL has today announced a price freeze on all tickets, for all matches across Weeks One and Two of the 2021 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

After a subsequent price freeze in 2018, 2019 and 2020, the AFL continues its commitment to affordability by freezing tickets nationally, across all games and venues in Weeks One and Two.

The entry level reserved seat category for Weeks One and Two will remain at $35.

AFL Executive General Manager Customer and Commercial Kylie Rogers said the price freeze was put in place to honour the commitment members and fans had made to their clubs in yet another Covid-19 affected season.

Our commitment remains to keep finals footy prices as an affordable option and thanking the members and fans who have stuck by their club’s this season

- Kylie Rogers

"It has been a challenging season for everyone, the uncertainty in the community resulting in the constant changes in fixturing has tested our whole industry, none more so than footy fans around the country," Ms Rogers said.

"Matches without fans are simply not the same, they don't evoke the passion and emotion that is so powerful to be a part of, especially when watching from the stands.

"With this in mind, our commitment remains to keep finals footy prices as an affordable option and thanking the members and fans who have stuck by their club's this season.

"Four matches across two state this weekend and I know the atmosphere will be electric and the roar of the crowd will be as loud as ever."
