HAWTHORN defender Nic Garner became the latest player to reach 50 rebel VFLW matches in her team’s comprehensive win over her old club, the previously undefeated Casey Demons, at Box Hill City Oval last Sunday.

Garner played 32 matches and kicked four goals for Casey from 2016-19 before crossing to the Hawks for the 2021 season and adding another 18 appearances so far to bring up the half-century.

The other big milestone to fall went to valuable North Melbourne defender Reni Hicks, who finally managed to kick her first VFLW goal in her 49th match at her fourth club after spending most of her time down back for Diamond Creek, Darebin, Carlton and the Kangaroos.

There were also a few head-to-head and scoring records to fall in Round 10, while a plethora of NAB League Girls stars made their VFLW debuts, and Essendon's Federica Frew continues to hold a near unassailable lead in a Rohenna Young Medal race dominated by Bombers.

Have a look at everything that happened last weekend here.
