Last Monday, January 31st 2011, 12 new Collingwood players headed to Thredbo for the first year camp.

The camp began with a group discussion night, lead by senior coach Michael Malthouse, where the boys got to know each other and talked about goal setting.

Tuesday was a big day, as they set about conquering Mt Kosciusko. "You're walking into the wind and you can't even keep your eyes open," Paul Seedsman told Alex Fasolo for his CTV video diary.

The young recruits also faced some rapids, spending Wednesday white water rafting in the upper Murray, with Alex Fasolo reporting Jack Perham as the stand out rafter.

John Ceglar took his trivia team all the way, winning with his smashing rendition of 'The Gambler' by Kenny Rogers and the boys also managed to get in some weights sessions and swimming before returning to the Westpac Centre on Thursday afternoon.
