The 2022 Bachar Houli Academy will showcase their talent on the MCG on Sunday September 25.
The Bachar Houli Academy is a high-performance football talent program for young Muslim footballers.
The program focuses on strengthening players leadership abilities and provides a unique football development opportunity, as well as giving participants the opportunity to learn about their identity.
The 2022 Bachar Houli Academy came together in Melbourne on Tuesday as part of a six-day program during Toyota AFL Grand Final week.
Participants will take part in a host of football and personal development sessions over the course of the six days.
They will also be provided mentoring from elite athletes, which will include a panel session with Carlton star Adam Saad and Olympian Peter Bol.
Players will attend the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final, before taking the field on Sunday when they play AJAX’s under-19 team on the MCG from 11:00am.
The 2022 Bachar Houli Academy features several NAB League-listed players, including Mahmoud Taha, Amin Naim and Ahmed Zahraman (Calder Cannons) and Lukmain Haddara (Western Jets).
