Grovedale tall Ruby Bowers will make her long-awaited VFLW debut for Geelong at the age of 28 when the Cats meet Darebin at La Trobe University on Sunday.
The Cats lose stars Olivia Cicolini and Charlotte Simpson to injury and have rested Georgie Rankin, Mel Bragg and Renee Garing, while the Falcons have recalled defender Victoria Blackwood to replace the injured Trinity Mills.
