BROTHERS Michael and Daniel Talia are still waiting for the outcome of an AFL probe into allegations of 'information sharing'.

Michael has been traded to the Sydney Swans, and even unveiled in his new jumper, but it remains to be seen if he'll be found to have done anything wrong over what are unprecedented accusations.

The former Bulldog is alleged to have shared 'game-sensitive' information with his brother Daniel, who plays for Adelaide, ahead of the teams' elimination final meeting.

The pair 'categorically deny any wrongdoing' and have been supported by the AFL Players' Association during the investigation.

Michael did not play in the game with the Crows edging the Bulldogs in a thrilling encounter by seven points.

Two weeks ago Fairfax Media reported an outcome to the investigation was close.

However, AFL.com.au understands the inquiry being lead by the League's integrity unit is still open and there is no timeframe for it to be completed.

An AFL spokesperson said officials would take as much time as they need to complete the probe.

It was the Bulldogs who referred the matter to the AFL after conducting their own initial interviews.

Chief executive David Stevenson has previously said he doesn't believe whatever happened had a 'material bearing' on the game or the result.

The Crows have said publicly they have merely been 'caught in the crossfire' and have done nothing wrong.
