See the squads for the 2019 NAB AFL All Stars Futures match to be played at the MCG as a curtain-raiser to the 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
The 2019 NAB AFL All Stars match will commence at 10:00am AEST and will include Under-17 players who will feature in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft.
The teams have been named after greats of the game Nick Dal Santo and Jonathon Brown, and will be coached by Vic Country Academy coach Leigh Brown and Allies coach Luke Power.
AFL Talent Ambassador Kevin Sheehan said:
“This will be the fourth year we have played a NAB AFL All Stars match, giving AFL Clubs an insight on the top 48 players raw potential a year out from their Draft year.
“In 2016 the likes of Cameron Rayner (Brisbane Lions), Jack Higgins (Richmond), Darcy Fogarty (Adelaide Crows), Paddy Dow (Carlton), Hunter Clark (St Kilda), Aaron Naughton (Western Bulldogs), Sam Taylor (GWS Giants) and James Worpel (Hawthorn) played in the game and showed their potential a year ahead of their Draft.
“Rayner of course become the Number 1 Draft selection with the likes Taylor (selection 28) and Worpel (selection 45), now looking outstanding, later selections as we reflect.”
The 2019 NAB AFL All Stars match will be streamed live on AFL.com.au from 10:00am AEST and the FEATURED article section of the NAB League app.
