THE AFL wishes to congratulate the Adelaide Crows' Taylor Walker ahead of his 300th AFL game on Thursday night.

As the Crows' all-time leading goal kicker, Walker is set to become the 110th player in VFL/AFL history to reach 300 games and the fifth Crow to do so, joining Ben Hart, Mark Ricciuto, Andrew McLeod and Tyson Edwards. 

The AFL's Historian has compiled a list of key numbers and achievements across Walker's career:

When he debuted in 2009 there were 57 players in the 300 game club.

• Captain of Adelaide from 2015 through 2019. Walker’s 105 games as Adelaide captain is second only to Mark Ricciuto (142 games)

• In Round 18, 2020, he kicked his 441st career goal, passing Tony Modra to become Adelaide’s all time leading goal scorer
• Walker becomes the first person to play 300 games in the number 13. He overtook Daniel Giansiracusa (265) for most games wearing #13 in April 2024
• The 76th player to reach 300 games as a one club player
• The fifth person to play 300 games for Adelaide joining Ben Hart, Mark Ricciuto, Andrew McLeod and Tyson Edwards
• In Round 12 this year, at age 35 years and 36 days, he became the oldest ever player for Adelaide, taking the record from Nigel Smart
• Celebrated his 250th game in 2023 by kicking his first 10 goal haul 
• 678 career goals, currently 29^th on the all time VFL/AFL goal kickers list
• Has kicked 542 goals in games played outside Victoria, the third most behind Josh Kennedy (554) and Lance Franklin (543)
• The leading goal kicker at the Adelaide Oval with 287 goals, 113 more than the next player on the list, which is Eddie Betts with 174
• Taylor Walker has kicked 152 goals to the City end and 135 goals to the Cathedral end at the Adelaide Oval
• 381 goals kicked in South Australia, the most by any AFL player. Warren Tredrea (312) is the only other to have kicked at least 250 goals in the state
• Has missed 84 games on his way to 300. 2015 and 2019 are the only seasons where he has played every match
• At 16 years and 160 days, he will be the 11th slowest of the 110 players to 300 games
• Taylor Walker is the only player left at the Crows who is older than the club itself. Walker was born in April 1990, the club was formed in October that same year
