COLLINGWOOD'S Violet Patterson has received a one-match suspension for a rough tackle on Fremantle's Gab Newton during round two.

Patterson collected Newton in a dumping tackle in the first quarter of Sunday's game, with the match review officer assessing the incident as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, attracting the ban.

Five other players received fines for various offences across the round.
