Viewers will enjoy more than 12 hours of live and free coverage across Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport, beginning with the Weekend Sunrise AFL Grand Final Day Special, hosted by David Woiwod and Monique Wright from 7.00am, and continuing non-stop until the post- match presentations and celebrations wind up after 7.00pm AEST.

Following Weekend Sunrise on Saturday, Seven’s Grand Final Day coverage will feature:

• Seven’s pre-game coverage from 9.00am AEST will take fans into the annual Grand Final Brunch, hosted by Jason Richardson and featuring Campbell Brown and Kate McCarthy.
  
• The 2026 AFL Grand Final Countdown kicks off from 10.30am AEST, when host Rebecca Maddern is joined by 7AFL expert, Matthew Richardson and Carlton and Brisbane Lions legend and host of 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick Breakfast show, Brendan Fevola.
  
• At midday, Seven heads inside the MCG, where Hamish McLachlan leads a star-studded panel featuring Nick Riewoldt, Dale Thomas, Daisy Pearce, Luke Hodge, Kane Cornes and Joel Selwood live from the ground as anticipation builds towards the 2026 AFL Grand Final. Seven’s team will be there to bring viewers all the excitement from the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment headlined by Kylie Minogue alongside G Flip, Michael Paynter and AFL Grand Final Day mainstay, Mike Brady AM as he performs Up There Cazaly as we farewell the 2026 AFL retirees.
  
• 2026 AFL Grand Final from 2.00pm AEST, Brian Taylor and James Brayshaw will call every moment, joined by expert commentators Luke Hodge and Kane Cornes. Holding the record for the most goals kicked on the MCG, Matthew Richardson will provide expert goal analysis from an exclusive position behind the goal posts, while Abbey Holmes and 7NEWS Chief Football Reporter, Mitch Cleary will report from the boundary.
  
• In the main break, Hamish McLachlan will be joined by Joel Selwood and Nick Riewoldt, while Abbey Holmes and Daisy Pearce will be stationed outside the respective team rooms to deliver the latest news affecting the competing sides.
