The club confirmed the trio were delisted on Monday, along with rookie Luke Strnadica.

Sheridan played 81 games over seven seasons for the Dockers, but struggled to establish himself as a regular in Ross Lyon's senior team over the past two years.

To all of FFC and my WA family, I wanted to let you know that I received a call last Friday and found out that my time at the Fremantle Football Club is unfortunately up. It’s been an unbelievable journey the past 7 years, an experience I’ll never forget! To the whole Fremantle Football Club - players, coaches, football department, footy operations upstairs, support staff and of course the passionate fans I’ve met during this time I’d just like to say a massive THANK YOU!! I’ve met some really really good people during my time over in the West and look forward to our continued friendship. It’s quite sad when I think about the whole situation, yet on the flip side it’s quite exciting! Thanks to every one who has reached out and sent messages the past few weeks, feeling very humbled and thankful to have so much support around me. I’m really looking forward to the next chapter wherever and whatever that is. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and that’s why my time is up. Once again thank you FFC, I’ll miss you. Wishing everyone there all the best for the future!

Sheridan was recruited to Fremantle as a first-round draft pick in 2011, enjoying a breakout season as the Dockers won the minor premiership under Lyon in 2015.

Defender Sutcliffe also farewelled the club on Sunday night via Instagram.

The South Australian, taken at pick 71 in the 2011 draft, played 104 games for Fremantle.

"Loved every second playing alongside some of the best people you will ever meet," Sutcliffe wrote. "Special thanks to everyone that supported me along the way, will always be grateful for the opportunity I received."

Grey, who played 21 games across five seasons at the club, also thanked Fremantle for the opportunity.

"Thank you to the Fremantle football club for the past 5 seasons," he wrote.

"It’s been an incredible journey with plenty of ups and downs and so many memories and I can’t thank the club and everyone involved especially those that sacrifice behind the scenes enough for making it so enjoyable and guiding me to strive to be my best.

"Everyone that has played a role in my time at freo on and off field thank you, you have been my WA family.

"To the freo fans, you guys are the reason this game is so great, hearing the cheering regardless of the result is why it was such an honour to play for this club so thank you. I’ll keep writing my own story. It’s goodbye from me for now."

Strnadica was taken with pick No.21 in the 2016 NAB AFL Rookie Draft, but never managed a senior game.

The quartet join the Fremantle exodus this off-season, following the retirements of Michael Johnson, Danyle Pearce and Lee Spurr and the trading of Lachie Neale.
