The 21-year-old was badly hurt in the first quarter of Friday night's preliminary final against Geelong while laying a tackle, but showed enormous grit to come back on and help his teammates as they recorded a 19-point win over a Cats side that threatened to cause a boilover.

After scans on Saturday, the club said in a statement Graham would go through rehab in an attempt to see him declared fit for the premiership decider against either Collingwood or Greater Western Sydney.

Defender Nathan Broad is also still in with a chance to win a second premiership medal after being concussed in a collision with teammate Jayden Short during the third term.

A decision will be made on the pair later in the week.

Jack Ross, Dan Butler, Marlion Pickett and Mabior Chol were emergencies for the preliminary final and some or all of those could be rested from Sunday's VFL Grand Final against Williamstown at Ikon Park.

Exciting young gun Sydney Stack is set to play in that clash for what will be his first match since August, when he had surgery for a right ankle syndesmosis issue.

While he will be on limited minutes, he could remarkably loom as an option for Damien Hardwick to ponder.

Graham endeared himself to the Tigers faithful with his brave effort against Geelong but is already a much-loved figure at the club after his stunning rise in 2017.

Drafted at pick No.53 the previous year, he debuted in round 22 and kept his place to line up in the Grand Final in just his fifth career game.

Despite his youth and inexperience, Graham starred, shutting down Adelaide gun Rory Sloane and booting three goals to earn a vote in the Norm Smith Medal voting.
