FREMANTLE midfielders Ryan Crowley and Lachie Neale have signed contract extensions to remain at the club beyond 2014.

Crowley, the 2012 best and fairest, has signed a one-year extension that will see him remain a Docker until the end of the 2015 season.

The 29-year-old gained life membership at the Dockers in 2013 and has become a vital cog in Ross Lyon's team.

"Ryan is a really integral part of our playing group," general manager of player management Brad Lloyd told fremantlefc.com.au.

Crowley said earlier this year that he wanted to be a Docker for life and is ecstatic to sign an extension that could see him reach 200 games for the club.

"I'm happy to be here until the end of 2015, and I'm hoping we have some success in the next few years," Crowley said.

Lachie Neale has ignored any thoughts of returning home to South Australia by signing a two-year extension that will see him remain at Fremantle until the end of the 2016 season.

The 20-year-old has played 23 matches in his first two seasons at the club and following some outstanding late season form the lively midfielder was used as the sub in the preliminary final and Grand Final.

"Lachie has done a great job since joining the club," Lloyd said.

"He has applied himself to his football and has made the most of his senior opportunities over the last couple of years.

"We are looking forward to seeing his football develop over the coming years."

Neale says the decision to extend his contract was an easy one for him.

"The lifestyle over here is really relaxing and the weather is great," Neale said.

"The club have been great for me, they are the ones who gave me the opportunity to play football.

"I got picked up pretty late in the draft and Fremantle were the club to take me on.

"I owe a lot to the club for that, the coaching staff and the people around the club have been really good to me."
