Michael Warren: Elevated from the rookie list last year, the 23-year-old didn't get much of a run and finished with just six possessions. However will have received invaluable experience for the run.
WEST COAST EAGLES
Steven Armstrong: The 22-year-old former Demon was good in patches but didn't get a whole lot of the ball. Gathered 11 possessions but has the potential to step straight into a key role for West Coast if the Eagles decide to elevate him from the rookie list.
Matthew Priddis: Another rookie-listed player, was thrown into the midfield for extended periods and fought hard for the ball all game. Picked up 14 possessions in a promising performance.
Shannon Hurn: The Eagles first pick of the 2005 AFL draft was quiet with just five possessions, but is expected to flourish with time.
