GREATER Western Sydney coach Leon Cameron concedes he has no choice but to deliver "home truths" in what looms as a scathing review of Thursday night's shock loss to Sydney.
Cameron described his side's performance as "tripe" as he watched the Giants kick their equal-lowest score in their nine-season history.

Last year's grand finallists sit on the verge of falling outside the top eight after round 12 with Cameron declaring his side must cop everything it receives ahead of a monster clash with West Coast.
"We need to have some home truths in the coming days in the review and clearly that's not going to be a good review," Cameron said post-match.
"We need to cop our right whack because one team turned up and the other didn't tonight and that's really disappointing … we've got nine days to prepare for a huge challenge."
"Clearly you guys (media) are not silly and neither am I.
"We're off the mark and we hover around that 7th-10th spot for a reason. If we serve up that tripe there's going to be inconsistent performances like we've had for the majority of the year.
"We've got a lot of work to do over the next six weeks if we're even considering playing finals."
Stephen Coniglio labelled the first half as "hopeless" on Thursday night and Cameron said the new skipper and leadership group would be influential in driving the group this week.
The Giants won the inside 50s 52-32 – their highest count of the year – but managed just three goals that came all via free kicks in a haphazard display going forward.
"When we went inside 50 and there were probably some OK balls but a lot of it was rushed, credit to the Swans' pressure," Cameron said.
"We pulled the wrong rein, we dropped easy marks, leading patterns (weren't there), everything you could think of we just did the opposite."
Swans counterpart John Longmire was glowing in his praise of his young side which had "almost 650 games less experience" and introduced a sixth debutant for the season in Zac Foot.
He was also left to marvel at the leadership of co-captains Dane Rampe and Luke Parker, the latter winning the best-on-ground Brett Kirk Medal.
"Luke's first quarter and the way he set the tone for the younger blokes around him was fantastic," Longmire said.
"He led from the front, that's what he does, and everyone jumped on board tonight with him. Him and Dane, who's been playing with that sore hand, have been fantastic for us."
Nick Blakey delivered a spark in the midfield after he was dropped last week and forced to play in a 12v12 reserves scratch match.
"Nick's first half was fantastic and he's something different in there (midfield)," Longmire said.
"He's really tall, quick and he's a beautiful kick and he was able to push forward and kick a couple of goals.
"It gives us a different look to our midfield group which is what we've been after for that young group coming through."
The Swans face Fremantle in the second leg of their Perth stop next Saturday at Optus Stadium.
