The Lions have even gone so far as to replicate game-day by sledging each other during goalkicking practice.

The Tigers won the corresponding match in 2019 by 47 points and then chalked up a 41-point victory when they met in round 10 this year.

On both occasions the Lions did well in general play but were horrible in front of goal, kicking 8.17 and 4.17 respectively.

"Absolutely," Zorko said.

"If Richmond were in the exact same position I'm sure we'd be letting them know as well.

"We expect that, we've trained for that. We just need to go back and execute our routine.

"It's going back, forgetting what's happened in the past, just sticking to it, focusing on the process and not the result."

Brisbane's woes in front of goal have improved in the past month, particularly from set shots, with Cam Rayner, Lincoln McCarthy and Eric Hipwood all finding their radar.

Zorko said Brisbane had prepared for any verbal taunts coming its way.

"We've been throwing a little bit of lip on the mark (at training)," he said.

"I think it comes even harder when it's your teammates throwing it at you, you can get a little more personal.

"The boys have responded very well to that. I'm really confident they've done the work now."

The spotlight is on the Lions, losers of their past 15 encounters to the Tigers and bowing out with successive finals defeats to Richmond and GWS last year.

But the skipper says his team is ready.

"Last year we were heading into a finals series that a lot of players hadn't played in before," he said.

"We've experienced it, we understand what it takes and what the occasion is going to be like.

"I feel like we're really well prepared."

Harris Andrews (hamstring) and Jarrod Berry (shoulder) are both expected to be named in Brisbane's team after missing the end of the season with injury.
