ST KILDA has wasted little time announcing its delistings after the club's season ended in a semi-final loss to reigning premier Richmond on Friday night.

Doulton Langlands, Ryan Abbott, Jack Bell, Jack Mayo and Logan Austin won't receive new contracts at the Saints for 2021.

Their departures take the club's list changes to six after veteran defender Nathan Brown's mid-season retirement in July.

Austin played 18 senior matches, including seven for St Kilda, after the defender crossed from Port Adelaide in the 2017 Trade Period.

The Saints were also Abbott's second team, having signed there as a delisted free agent last year and making one appearance, to go with his five for Geelong.

Langlands played three games for St Kilda – all last year – while Jack Mayo and Jack Bell didn't reach senior level after being selected in the 2019 mid-season and rookie drafts, respectively.

All six departing players were acknowledged at the Saints' best and fairest function on Sunday night, when All-Australian midfielder Jack Steele was a runaway winner of the Trevor Barker Award
