SOUTH Australia and Western Australia have scored victories in another day of upsets at the 2008 NAB AFL Under 16 Championships on the Gold Coast.

In results mirroring those of yesterdays division two matches, comfortable first round winners Vic Metro and Vic Country were both beaten.

South Australia’s dramatic one-point victory over the highly fancied Vic Metro was led by centre-half-forward Jake Von Bertouch who booted two goals.

David Swallow, the brother of North Melbourne midfielder Andrew Swallow was best afield for Western Australia in its strong win over Vic Country.

All eight teams in the division one and two competitions are now locked on one win each.
