Season 2011 marks the West Coast Eagles 25th year in the AFL competition, with the club’s inaugural match played against Richmond in 1987.

When West Coast lines up against the Tigers this season in round 20, Patersons Stadium will erupt with anniversary celebrations pre-game, at half-time and post-match.

Throughout our proud history, the unwavering support of our passionate members and supporters has been the driving force behind our success and we are looking forward to sharing our milestone with the people who have made the club what it is today.

Fans will be invited on to the oval after the match and treated to an exclusive post-match stage show, featuring interviews with club legends and a special performance of ‘Eagle Rock’ by Daddy Cool’s Ross Wilson.

The evening of family fun will also include free activities, sponsor giveaways and an autograph session with past and present West Coast Eagles players.

Club mascots Rick the Rock and Auzzie the Eagle will be joining the fun to meet the club’s passionate fans.

Circle Sunday, August 7 in your calendar, as this exciting celebration will be talked about for years to come. It is anticipated that the event will run until approximately 7pm.

Not attending the game? Gate 10 will open at 5.30pm so fans without match tickets can join the party.

The club will be revealing more exciting surprises for our Eagles Rock 25 Years party closer to the date, so make sure you stay tuned to westcoasteagles.com.au.
