THE OFF-field change at Essendon has continued, with fitness boss Justin Crow to depart the club.

The Bombers announced on Tuesday that Crow, who joined the Bombers in 2011 and took over as the club's performance manager in 2013, will leave at the end of the season.

It was described as a "mutual" parting of ways, coming at the end of what has been a horror injury run for the club this season.

"Justin has had a tremendous impact on our football club, and has led a very dedicated high-performance team during his tenure at the club, particularly through some challenging circumstances," football manager Dan Richardson said.

"He is a man of integrity and high values, and has made a fantastic contribution to the club in his time here. We wish Justin and his family the very best for their future endeavours."

The Bombers will shed assistant coaches Rob Harding and Paul Corrigan at the end of the year, with Richmond assistant and Essendon's 2000 premiership player Blake Caracella to return to the club as a member of its coaching panel.
